What is a cultural assessment?

A cultural assessment is a diversity, equity, and inclusion tool where all members gauge what DEI means for the community, company, institution, etc. and how to actualize DEI. Additionally, in a cultural assessment, the client examines ways community is built and sustained, who has access to resources, why certain members included and excluded, the effectiveness of the envirnoment’s climate with handling complex social issues, and the adaptability of leaders and employees to embrace and work through differences.

What is the process to organize and Develop a training, workshop or strategic planning project?

The process of organizing a training, workshop or strategic development planning session with TC Consulting entails scheduling a consultation to discuss the individual, community, school, or company’s issue(s). Then, TC Consulting will build the content for a training, workshop or strategic development plan.

Do clients own cultural assessment, training, workshop, or strategic development project materials?

There are no recurring licensing fees, so the client will have unlimited access and the ability to modify the original material as needed. However, the client is prohibited from reselling the content of training, workshop and strategic development planning material created by TC Consulting.

How Can TC consulting services be requested?

TC Consulting services can be requested by scheduling a consultation. Consultations can be scheduled on the website under the ‘schedule a consultation’ button on the homepage.

What do clients receive from conducting a cultural assessment?

By conducting a cultural assessment clients receive a comprehensive analysis of what all members think about the role DEI plays with the community, company, or school, what is needed to prioritize or re-strategize DEI efforts, potential blind spots that are stifling community and excluding others, ways diverse needs could be met to strengthen DEI outcomes, and growing points for leaders and employees with developing equitable practices.

How much customization do clients receive with services?

TC Consulting works with clients to develop a service estimate and work contract that explains which services are needed to solve their DEI issues. There will be different opportunities to make changes to the service estimate and work contract as needed.

How are pricing and a work contract determined?

The pricing for consultations, training, workshops, and strategic development planning sessions are determined by the hourly and monthly rates, which can be found on the 'pricing + services' tab. TC Consulting will suggest which rates will be the most beneficial. Then, TC Consulting will create a work contract that specifies which services will be utilized and what the client will receive. The client will review the work contract, make changes as needed, and agree to proceed.

How are travel expenses billed?

The client will cover travel and lodging expenses, such as gas mileage, flight, and overnight stay.

What is the process and TIME-FRAME to pay for services?

TC Consulting receives payment for services through check payment with an emailed invoice to the client.
